Travel Green - Enjoy 50% Off Movie Tickets at Valby Kino

Visitors who travel to Copenhagen by train instead of flying can receive a 50% discount on movie tickets at Valby Kino through the CopenPay programme.

Valby Kino is a unique local cinema operated entirely by volunteers. With 114 volunteers and no paid employees, the cinema is run on a non-profit basis and serves as an important cultural meeting place in the Valby district of Copenhagen.

By choosing a more sustainable way of travelling and supporting a community-driven cultural institution, you contribute both to Copenhagen's green transition and to local cultural life.

How It Works
1. Download the CopenPay app.
2. Complete the relevant activity and document that you travelled to Copenhagen by train.
3. Visit Valby Kino and show your Reward Screen in the CopenPay app to the volunteer at the ticket desk. The discount is NOT available online.
4. Receive a 50% discount on your movie ticket.

Please note that, due to distribution agreements and other restrictions, the discount may not be available for all screenings.

About the Films
Most films at Valby Kino are shown in their original language with Danish subtitles.
Films for children may either be shown in a Danish dubbed version or in their original language with Danish subtitles.
